    Located discretely in the historic East Side Indianapolis neighborhood of Irvington, Bold specializes in recording and mixing of acoustic based music. The Studio has been built from the ground up taking all details of acoustic design into account. It was designed and constructed as a three room facility containing a control room with minimal phase and transient distortion, a live room that sounds nearly two times its actual size, and an isolation room with a high degree of acoustic detachment from the other rooms. The facility also houses a larger than average isolation closet for recording loud amplified sources. This attention to detail translates into better sounding recordings, mixes, and masters. You’ve put alot into your music, and you deserve a bold approach to recording it.

    The studio is owned and operated by myself, Adam Jay Southerland. While I specialize in recording small to medium sized Jazz groups, I’ve been known to take on the production and recording of various Blues, R&B, Rock, and Spoken Word projects from start to finish. In addition to studio projects I record live performances as well.

    I also offer limited analog mastering to independent labels and producers of electronic based music, due to my vast experience in this particular field of audio production. House, Techno, Dubstep, Drum & Bass, and so on. My clients demand quality analog mastering of digital compositions for release in the digital medium (CD, DVD, & Internet).
